To spice up my work uniform, I wore a different pair of dangly earrings every day.  Soon, I began receiving compliments.  My co-workers wanted to know where I got my earrings.  When I told them I made them, some of them asked if I sold them.  After several months of being motivated by my co-workers, I became a member of Etsy.   You can check out my etsy shop here.

Here are my first listings using Etsy.  This is the first necklace I made and it was surprisingly easy to transition from earrings to making a necklace.  I’ve made several earrings to match this necklace.

The hardest part of all this has been taking pictures of my pieces.  I do have access to a nice camera, however it has been tricky finding a good background and how to set things up for a simple picture.  I’m hoping this will get easier with time.

This blog will be used not only to display new items, but also document the process and thoughts behind my pieces.
